The Right Brain vs Left Brain. Do you see the dancer turning clockwise or counter-clockwise?  It is said that if you see clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain. Counter-clockwise means you are stronger on the left side.

It’s not hard science to be sure. In fact, the  right/left brain theory has been called into question as more research is done into the parts of the brain that are active with certain activities.

Most people see the dancer turning counter-clockwise. (Though some people can focus and change the direction – what’s up with that?) That means that most of us are left-brained, probably right-handed,  and primed for the world of school which is heavily weighted towards that approach.
