I look at the statistics for this blog every weekend when I write new posts to see what people read or looked at,  or clicked a link to, or commented on, or where the person found me.

The oddest stat is always how many people click on an image. Usually, they are not beautiful photographs and I wonder about why they are popular or what people think clicking the image will lead them to (usually it’s just the image alone).

The past few months this image of a man on a bench has been the most viewed.

Before that, it was an image of Mount Fuji.

What is there about these images that appeals to people?
